THE FIGHT OF FAITH FOR FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECIES – PT. 3 & 4
The Strong Hold of Faith:
I Timothy 1:18-19
Like it or not, we are in a warfare!
“Warfare” and “fun fare” are a world of difference.

There is a 7 fold agenda God has in store of us this year, which includes multiplication on every side, however, those prophecies will never see the light of day if we do not take steps towards them /or war with them.

Ephesians 6:10-12
I Timothy 6:12
No wonder we are called soldiers of Christ. Soldiers don’t get to the war front and start crying.
II Timothy 2:3
CHARACTERISTICS OF SOLDIERS:
They are men of great strength.  Proverbs 24:10
Another characteristic of soldiers is that preparation for the battle does not begin after the battle has started rather it begins before the battle shows up.  Proverbs 21:31. The word “pre” connotes something you do before an actual event.
They are men of continuous growth and development! I Peter 2:2
They follow instructions “accurately” and “promptly.” Delayed obedience is the same as disobedience. Philippians 2:8 (Jesus our perfect example was obedient even unto death…)

Zechariah 9:12
God has designed several things in scriptures known as “strongholds.” They are things that guarantee our victory when we do them.
The Stronghold of Faith is what we call OBEDIENCE.
Faith begins with the Word but it doesn’t end with the Word. The Word Heard must become Word Obeyed.
Your effectiveness as a soldier in a warfare is determined by your promptness to instructions.
As a soldier when you are told to attack, you cannot say you feel like retreating. You obey the last order.
The bible is not a religious book of mere pieces of advice but a manual of instructions for profitable living – Bishop David Oyedepo
Lets look at Abraham our pattern of faith in the scriptures à John 8:39

Genesis 12:1-4
Genesis 17:23
Genesis 21:9-14
It is called “Delightsome and prompt obedience”
The reason many of us are where we are today is not because of the devil but simply because of disobedience. When was the last time you obeyed God?
When the virtue of obedience is lacking victory will be lost!
Obedience is the hardest currency in the kingdom. Isaiah 1:19
Your progress in the faith is determined by your obedience. You can only go as far as your obedience will go!

The Worth of Obedience:
1 Wisdom. Matthew 7:24-27
2 Signs and Wonders.. John 2:5
3 Prosperity. Joshua 1:8
4 Spiritual growth. I Peter 2:2
5 Certified Victory. I John 5:4. It is the obedience of faith that brings certified/ unquestionable victory.
